I am dealing with incessant ringing in my ears, and she did not make any attempts to determine the root cause of my symptoms and seemed unbothered I was upset at her lack of suggestions, help, oe willingness to find the source of the problem. She told me to listen to white noise and go to a retraining therapy.

I came in for a scheduled ear cleaning. Was sent to get a hearing test and consultation that I was unaware was going to happen. Then was sent away without getting my ears cleaned and no answers as to why I'm constantly in pain.

Dr. Hathaway is always thorough and clear explaining what is going on. I have had multiple ear and nose issues throughout the years and she is always concerned and listens even when I have trouble explaining my symptoms. She provided multiple options and always advises to let her know if issues arise.

The provider was not personable, friendly, and seemed as if she didn't care to meet a new patient. I expressed my concerns, explained the history of what has been going on and she basically told me I'm experiencing a jaw issue due to grinding my teeth which I know I don't do. I wanted to be respectful and not challenge her opinion but when I explained that I would attempt wearing a mouth piece and if that doesn't fix the issue, I would like additional testing, she was very certain of what I was experiencing. I wouldn't have been so annoyed about this if she was friendly and acted liked she cared to meet me and hear my concerns.
