I live in impoverished area where the care is not good for gastric bypass recipients I would truly love to see my friends be part of the McGee's bariatrics, but the distance is too much for them. But I do share what I learned from my care team with them.

I have already recommended Dr. Reed to others that I know that I've had the gastric bypass surgery that I had. He is very good with follow up visits and explaining and helping with all problems that could possibly be connected to bariatric surgery.

Dr. Reed and PA Hannah spoke to me in terms I understood. I felt very comfortable with both of them. I was able to schedule my next appointment very quickly and they gave me direction on how and where to get my bloodwork and ekg done so I didn't have to make another appointment to have this done. UPMC as a whole makes this an easy process.

Dr. Reed was excellent. There was another DR prior to the visit who reviewed my case but didnt participate in the surgery. Seemed odd but I guess everyone is busy. Not sure why I needed to see both DRs
