Jacqueline Ho, MD, MSc, is a pediatric nephrologist and is certified in pediatric nephrology by the American Board of Pediatrics and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. She serves in the Division of Pediatric Nephrology, Department of Pediatrics at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and is associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Ho received her medical degree from the University of Western Ontario, Canada, completed her pediatric residency at British Columbia Children’s Hospital, University of British Columbia, Canada, and her fellowship in pediatric nephrology at Children’s Hospital Boston, Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Ho’s clinical interests include congenital anomalies of the kidney and urinary tract. She is committed to educating future physicians and directs the Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship program and co-directs the Pediatric Scientist Development Program in the Department of Pediatrics at UPMC Children’s. Dr. Ho also leads a nationally recognized laboratory studying microRNAs and their role in kidney development and disease, which has been continuously NIH-funded for over 10 years. She has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals.
