Dr. Mcclincy was quick but efficient at my son's post surgery follow-up appointment. He explained next steps and answered questions we had.

The doctor was rude and dismissive of my questions. He completely ignored me several times and would only address my child. He was in a rush through our appointment and did not make me feel comfortable with his assessment.

Although this doctor was very kind, he explained things REALLY fast. He referred to her xray without showing it to us. (The nurse had it up and also didn't show it to us - we had to peer around to look at it.) The doctor was very good with my child, did gentle stretches and movements to assess her hip, but was pretty dismissive and sent us on our way with a script for physical therapy. I know he sees very serious cases and thankfully we are not one of them, I would still expect the time spent on us to be more than 5 minutes. It truly was that short.

We were at the appointment for a total of 10 minutes. The doctor barely greeted us and performed the exam extremely quickly without referring to my son's chart or why we were referred. He did not explain the X-rays and very quickly explained the plan for PT. During the exam he made a condescending remark to my son about how he performed the directed movement.

I absolutely love him! He has been amazing with my daughter throughout this whole process. I really can't say enough good things about him. He had talked to her and treated her with complete respect and has never treated her like a child. My daughter struggles with her mental health, and he was able to pick up on that without being told and is always very understanding and compassionate with his treatment of her. He has always explained everything very thoroughly with her and has always let her be in charge of her health and decisions on what she wants as far as treatment goes.

Honestly the doctor got in and said there wasnt any fractures but when I was trying to speak about what I was actually having an issue with he kind of brushed it off. I feel like what I was trying to say related to the reason why we showed up but he just continued on with the fastest easiest option. I mean it did help put me at ease but he couldve just told me if the two ideas correlates
