Dr. Paul K. Waltz, MD, is a pediatric general surgeon and is board-certified in pediatric and general surgery by the American Board of Surgery. He is the Associate Clinical Director of the Division of Pediatric Surgery, Associate Program Director of the Pediatric Surgery Fellowship, and the Surgical Director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.

Dr. Waltz received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed his surgical residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, followed by his pediatric surgery fellowship at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.

Dr. Waltz has broad clinical interests and enjoys working with fellows, residents, and medical students. He precepts several courses for the third and fourth year medical students. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife, two children, and dog.
