This was likely our final follow-up with Dr Abel 3.5 years after the injury. He will be in our hearts forever. CHP is a magical place. We are so blessed to have a place like this and doctors of this quality close to us.

We were nervous switching providers since Dr. Greene moved on to Duke but Dr. Abel and his PA were wonderful! Dr. Abel got down to our daughter's level to talk to her, was straight to the point, caring, and informative.

The PA and Dr. Abel were both very calm, positive, kind, caring and informative about my daughter's condition. We did not feel rushed at all.

I came to UPMC specifically because Dr Abel is compassionate, knowledgeable and clearly expert. Dr Welch has also been a careful listener and explained his process too.

Dr. Able is one of the humblest physicians we have ever met. The PA showed compassion and concern

Dr. Abel is one of the most exceptional doctors we have ever seen. He is attentive to the needs of our daughter - speaking directly to her about her condition and upcoming procedures. He is thorough and caring. We trust him explicitly.
